Ron and Opal Perlman Are Seemingly in an ‘Open Relationship’ as Things Heat Up With Allison Dunbar

Things are heating up between Ron Perlman and Allison Dunbar — even though he’s a married man! On Sunday, November 3, the rumored couple was spotted having lunch in Los Angeles, and an eyewitness exclusively told In Touch they were getting very cozy. “They definitely seem like an item,” the onlooker said of the couple, who were seen being affectionate while eating at Soho Warehouse in Los Angeles. At one point, the actor had his hand on his StartUp costar’s lap. “[They were] very touchy-feely.”

While the status of his marriage to his wife, Opal Perlman, is currently unknown, the insider noted that Ron, 69, “wasn’t wearing a wedding ring.” They added, “I didn’t see his wife.”

However, a separate source tells In Touch that Ron and Opal have “what seems like an open relationship.”

“Everyone thought Ron and his wife lived very separate lives,” the insider said. When it comes to his fling with Allison, they added, “I will say this: The blonde actress he’s with now isn’t his usual type. He’d flirt on the set with extras like he was a single man. His wife’s name never came up.”

This isn’t the first time Ron and Allison were spotted packing on the PDA in public. In May, Us Weekly published photos of them kissing as they left a restaurant. Earlier that evening, the two reportedly shared a romantic dinner. Since working together, the pair appear to have grown close — and they’ve even bonded with each other’s families. “The Perlmans and the Dunbars,” the actress captioned a photo of her, Ron and his daughter, Blake, in February 2018. “Two dynasties collide over the avocado salad. Love my new friends a lot.”

Ron and Opal, a fashion and jewelry designer, have been married for nearly four decades. After tying the knot on Valentine’s Day in 1981, the couple welcomed two children together, daughter Blake and son Brandon. In December 2018, the Hellboy star revealed in an interview with Ain’t It Cool News the secret to his successful marriage: “The mastering of the phrase, ‘You know, darling, you are so right!'” According to him, “If you can master that phrase, and you’re a dude, you got a shot.” But he also admitted, “I’m just a really lucky dude.
