Extreme Weight Loss star Rod Durham — who lost more than 180 pounds in one year — unfortunately passed away at the age of 52.

According to WFSU, officials say the Florida native died of natural causes.
"We are deeply saddened to learn of the passing away of our friend Rod Durham. He inspired us and countless others with his kindness, enthusiasm and heartfelt commitment to everything he did," producers of the reality show told Entertainment Tonight in a statement.
