He’s working on himself. Rob Kardashian has been more reclusive than his famous sisters and mother lately, and there’s a very good reason why — he’s working on losing weight. “Rob still has a way to go. He still prefers to wear black and stay out of the limelight, but his mom and sisters, especially Kim, fully support his progress now,” a source told In Touch exclusively.

“It’s still an uphill battle, but Rob is determined to show all the haters that he’s not down for the count,” the insider added. “He promises that he’ll be back in front of the cameras, but only when he’s good and ready.” So get ready, Keeping Up With the Kardashians fans!

Previously, In Touch reported that Rob, 32, has been working hard to get in shape but that it’s not an easy fix. “Rob still struggles with his weight. He has slimmed down a bit. He feels better about himself, and that’s amazing,” a source said of the Kardashian brother.

“Rob’s weight wasn’t just an issue for him,” the insider continued. “Some of his family members didn’t understand and were less than sympathetic. They know better now.”

The reality TV alum first started opening up about his fitness journey back in June. “Day 1 all good,” he captioned a photo of the gym at the time. In July he once again revealed that he was spending more and more time working on his physique and getting fit. “Deadddd,” he captioned a shot of weights on Twitter. Good for him!

But just because we aren’t seeing him in front of the Keeping Up With the Kardashians cameras, that doesn’t mean Rob hasn’t been active publicly at all. After Kylie Jenner’s little ditty, “Rise and Shine,” went viral after she posted a video tour of the Kylie Cosmetics HQ on October 10, even her brother got in on the fun. He posted a video of the 22-year-old mouthing the words “Rise and shine,” for the camera on October 19, so he’s at least keeping up appearances on social media. (Do you think he was impressed by his little sister’s musical chops?)
