Getting in trouble with the law. Ree Drummond’s teenage daughter, Paige, recently found herself in hot water, as she was reportedly arrested for consuming and possessing alcohol in public. Paige was charged and taken to jail in mid-April in her home state of Oklahoma, according to court docs.

The Pioneer Woman’s daughter made headlines on June 18, as it was revealed that she was charged with possession of alcohol by a person under 21 years of age as well as public intoxication, Radar Online reports. Paige “did appear in a drunken condition” when she was taken into custody. The court documents revealed that crime alone is punishable by up to one year in jail and a fee of up to $500. Paige also reportedly had an open container of beer with her at the time.

The 19-year-old “did unlawfully possess and consume a non-intoxicating beverage, containing more than one-half of one percent of alcohol measured by weight, in a public place,” according to the court documents. As far as this particular crime goes, it’s punishable up to 30 days in jail or a fine of up to $100, or both. It seems Paige is ready to move on after this learning lesson, because she’s already requested to have the crimes expunged after paying $404 in court fees so far. A request to dismiss both counts from Paige’s record was apparently approved back in May.

Many fans know about Ree thanks to her captivating Food Network show called The Pioneer Woman. She’s also got some incredible cookbooks, a popular blog and more. The TV star and her cowboy husband, Ladd, share four children together — Paige, a 21-year-old daughter Alex, who recently graduated from college (Texas A&M University), and two teenage sons, Bryce and Todd.

Ree has yet to comment on the incident regarding Paige via social media.
