Looks like he had a great time. Just days after the 10-year anniversary of late pop star Michael Jackson’s death, his son Prince Jackson embarked on a road trip. He traveled with a group of friends, and the 22-year-old shared some photos from his adventure on Instagram. He captioned one shot of his motorcycle, “First road trip with Diana!🏍🏍🏍😎.” (Named after his dad’s hit, “Dirty Diana,” perhaps?)

Prince also posted some group photos from the outing on June 28, and wrote, “Went with a solid group of people.” He shared with his followers that he “got to see Yosemite for the first time,” too. What a great trip!

Michael passed away on June 25, 2009, at the age of 50. He died in his Los Angeles home, in what was later ruled as the suffering of a cardiac arrest. On the 10th anniversary of his death, the Jackson estate released a statement that read in part, “Ten years ago today, the world lost a gifted artist and extraordinary humanitarian … United in grief, the world wept not only at the loss of an artistic genius but at the void left by the loss of a father, son and brother … A decade later, Michael Jackson is still with us, his influence embedded in dance, fashion, art and music of the moment. He is more important than ever.”

It’s hard to believe it’s been ten years since Michael’s passing, and fans can’t believe how big his children — Prince, Paris and Bigi (formerly known as Blanket) — have gotten since then. Generally, Prince keeps pretty quiet on his social media when it comes to his famous father — with at least one notable exception.

Back in August, he shared a direct message he’d received, demanding that he post something about Michael’s birthday. “If you expect anything from me you will get nothing,” he wrote. ” … This is my account that is public to everyone and I will use it as I see fit. If you’d like to see birthday posts for my dad look at what I’m tagged in. I chose to honor him in a different, intimate, and personal way.” You just keep doing you, Prince!
