Both of the ladies had recently ended their past relationships, which brought them closer together.

As fans may recall, Miley and her husband, Liam, called it quits in August after less than a year of marriage. That same month, Kaitlynn and her ex, Brody Jenner, also revealed they were amicably parting ways. “They love and respect one another, and know that this is the best decision for their relationship moving forward,” Brody’s rep Scott Newman told In Touch.
