It’s time for their showdown! Meghan Markle’s half-sister Samantha Markle is dead set on getting a word in with the Duchess of Sussex, so much that she boarded a plan from the US to the UK in order to confront her younger sibling in person. Samantha recently arrived in London and is due to have a chat with Meghan regarding the health of their father Thomas Markle, from whom Meghan is estranged.

“Having a wonderful time in London! British people have been so lovely and helpful!” the  53-year-old wrote on Twitter on Saturday, Sept. 29, according to The Sun. “If I can survive the roundabouts it will be a miracle LOL!”

Samantha’s publicist Rob Cooper announced his client’s trip to London in a series of tweets earlier this week, and he also explained the reason why Samantha is so intent on visiting with her younger sister. “Samantha Markle is coming to the UK. After making numerous attempts in private to arrange a one on one meeting with The Duchess of Sussex to discuss their 74-year-old father’s health, Kensington Palace have refused to respond.”

“I fear Meghan may not be made aware of these discreet attempts and therefore making this public is the only option we have left,” Rob continued in a second tweet. “I currently have Samantha in Europe with just one short flight away. This DOESN’T [sic] need to be public, we would prefer to keep this private. Samantha is coming to the UK this week, like it or not.”

But it seems like Samantha’s trip to London might be all naught because sources previously revealed to the Daily Mail that Meghan would never entertain the idea of a public showdown with her sister. “There is not a chance in hell that Meghan is going to lower herself and meet with her half-sister,” an insider close to the Duchess of Sussex said.
