It’s not fair. Former One Direction member Louis Tomlinson and his family have dealt with their fair share of grief in the last few years and the 27-year-old singer is now faced with another unfathomable bout of mourning. His 18-year-old sister Félicité passed away from a suspected heart attack on Thursday, March 13, and Louis is “inconsolable,” according to an insider who spoke exclusively with In Touch.

The social media influencer was reportedly found dead in her fourth-floor studio apartment in West London. Someone in the apartment apparently called for an ambulance and there were “extensive” efforts to save her life. Unfortunately, after emergency services attempted to revive her, she was pronounced dead at the scene.

The tragic news comes just two years after the X-Factor judge’s mother, Johannah, died after a long battle with Leukemia. She was only 43 years old. After the loving mother of seven died in 2016, her family’s world was completely rocked and it definitely had an effect on the singer once One Direction called it quits as a group that same year. Recently, Louis opened up about his grief and trauma in an emotional song called “Two of Us.”

“You’ll never know how much I miss you / The day that they took you, I wish it was me instead,” read some particularly intense lyrics. “But you once told me don’t give up / You can do it day by day / And diamonds they don’t turn to dust or fade away.”

Before her untimely death, Félicité was planning to publish a book of her own poetry. She was also in the process of developing a clothing line, which fans and followers were eager to see come to a final fruition. She and Louis were reportedly “very close.”

Our hearts continue to go out to Louis and the Tomlinson family as they grapple with another devastating loss to their sweet family.
