She’s trying to find “home.” Amy Roloff shared with her Instagram followers that she’s house hunting, and has been for several months now. “The hunt continues 😊🏡 ,” the Little People, Big World star wrote on July 21. “I’ve been through or seen more doors in the last 6+ months. And well, I thought I had found the house I could make into a home again 🏡 but I got beat out again by a higher offer. It wasn’t meant to be yet … I guess.” Poor Amy.

The 54-year-old reality star continued, “Just as the decision I made to take a buyout on my half of the farm property (just the DW side for now) was hard, finding ‘that’ house is being just as challenging. I’m trying to be patient for I don’t want to settle for anything … the hunt continues.” She then asked her followers, “I’m curious, how many wish/want to move or glad you’re right where you’re at? What are your key things you like /look for in a house? Gather … #amyroloffssecondact #househunting #continues #houseintoahome #keeplooking #patience.”

On the season finale of Little People, Big World, Amy accepted a buyout from her ex-husband, Matt Roloff, for one side of the family farm. “This process has not been easy for me,” she said on the show. “I will be glad when it’s completely done and we part ways.” Now, it looks like she’s trying to get even more distance and find somewhere that’s really “hers” to cherish in the future.

“Be patient, when it’s right it will happen,” one fan reassured Amy in the comments of her post. Another person wrote, “The welcoming feeling will be there when you walk in, it’s like the walls will talk to you LOL, but when its meant to be it will happen and it will be perfect💜💜.”

A different fan even asked Amy whether she’s interested in flipping a house as part of the process. “No,” she responded. “That’s just not me. Hey, we can’t all be a Chip or Joanna Gaines, right? Hopefully, Amy finds the perfect house for herself very soon, and with any luck, it’ll be perfect for grandkid get-togethers with Jackson and Ember Roloff and any future grandbabies.
