Leah Messer Loses Custody of Her Twin Daughters to Corey Simms on ‘Teen Mom 2’
Leah Messer previously angered Teen Mom 2 fans when she refused to feed her children breakfast or make their school lunches — but on Monday night’s episode of the MTV series, changes were made to ensure things would be different going forward.
Leah’s first ex-husband, Corey Simms, was told by his lawyer that he had gained primary custody of the former couple’s six-year-old twin daughters, Ali and Aleeah.

“This is what’s gonna build [the twins] to be mature adults that’s [sic] gonna succeed in life, that’s gonna go places. I want them to talk about college — I’m tickled pink that it happened,” he shared after hearing the news.
At this point, Corey and his wife Miranda would have the girls from Monday through Friday and Leah would get them on weekends.

In Touch exclusively reported the change in custody back in October, but in January, the duo went back to sharing custody.
“Leah is doing great,” a source said at the time. “She had confidence that she would be proven right and get her custody rights back.”
Corey and Miranda are also parents to a four-month-old daughter, Remington, while Leah has a three-year-old daughter, Adalynn, with her second ex-husband, Jeremy Calvert.
