Lamar Odom’s Rehab Stint Triggered by Late Son’s Birthday (REPORT)

In Touch reported earlier this week that Lamar Odom checked into rehab — and a new report claims his decision was triggered by the birthday of his late son, Jayden, which would have been Dec. 15.

The former NBA star’s son, whose mother was Liza Morales, was born in 2005 and died in June 2006 of SIDS (Sudden Infant Death Syndrome).

TMZ states that Lamar fell into a dark path of drug use after Jayden passed. Between this, him finalizing his divorce with Khloé Kardashian, and the holiday season — he was afraid he might relapse.

“He was not abusing drugs when he went in. He is clean. This is a precautionary measure,” a source previously revealed. “He’s trying to take care of himself. He really wants to be better. His friends and family encouraged him to go in and he agreed and made the decision.”

It was also suggested on Wednesday that Lamar will document his experience on a new reality show.
