‘Shallow Hal’ Star Joshua Shintani Dies Of Pneumonia at Age 32
Our hearts are breaking for Joshua Shintani’s loved ones at this time.
The Shallow Hal star died at age 32 on Wednesday after suffering from pneumonia, his mother confirmed to TMZ.

The site adds Shallow Hal was the only production he acted in.
He strummed “Never Forget Where I’m From” on his ukulele while sitting on a bench with Jason Alexander.

“This red rental car comes by and the man [Peter Farrelly] driving passed me and stared at me and gave me this look, his mouth was open,” he told The Garden Island of being cast in his role. “All of a sudden, he turns around and stops at the corner where I was at and he asked me to come over, and asked me if I want to be in a movie. And I was like, ‘What?’”
