One by one, women are coming forward to condemn Harvey Weinsten for his illegal actions. The film producer’s former assistant recently appeared on ITV’s After the News to tell her side of the story. She referred to her 65-year-old former boss as “bright” and “intelligent,” and went on to acknowledge how difficult it is for victims of sexual harassment and assault to speak out.

The woman (who went by “Karen” in the interview) detailed Harvey’s employees’ knowledge of his actions. Watch the video below to see what she had to say about the allegations!

It’s interesting that the former assistant chose to speak out now. Recently, model-turned-actress Cara Delevingne took to Instagram to detail her own harassment from the producer. She explained that he tried to use her bi-sexuality to convince her to engage in a threesome with himself and another woman in his hotel room. She admitted that his assistant was present during the time of the alleged harassment and was complicit.

“As soon as we were alone he began to brag about all the actresses he had slept with and how he had made their careers and spoke about other inappropriate things of a sexual nature,” she shared on Instagram. “He then invited me to his room. I quickly declined and asked his assistant if my car was outside. She said it wasn’t and wouldn’t be for a bit and I should go to his room. At that moment I felt very powerless and scared but didn’t want to act that way hoping that I was wrong about the situation.”

Since he allegedly used his assistants to help him lure women into unsafe situations, it raises the question if Karen ever found herself in a similar situation. But, when asked if she had any sympathy for her former boss, she said, “No I don’t have any, his behavior is wrong.”
