Well, this is good news! A source told Radar Online that Gwyneth Paltrow and Brad Pitt have a better relationship now after things were weird between them for a long time. “She and Brad had some awkwardness between them for many years and didn’t speak,” the insider said. “It was one of those cases where they broke up on poor terms, even though Gwyneth would say nice things about him in interviews.”

The source added that Brad, 55, “always felt a little sheepish and saw no real reason to get in touch.” The insider added, “They’ve bumped into each other a few times at parties in the Hollywood Hills and now things are totally cool between them. They had a nice exchange at Jen’s party too, apparently, which would have been great for everyone to see.”

Brad made a surprise appearance at Jennifer Aniston’s birthday party in West Hollywood on February 9, and it sounds like he and Gwyneth, 46, had a good chat while he was there. Brad and Gwyneth were engaged before they split in 1997, and he went on to marry Jen from 2000 to 2005. He was then married to Angelina Jolie from 2014 to 2016 after they dated for 10 years. Being on good terms with your exes is never a bad thing, and it seems like that’s something Brad is working on — although, it may be a while before he gets to that point with Angie.

These days, Gwen is married to Brad Falchuk. They were wed in September and met on the set of Glee years ago. And it appears that she’s actually pretty good at keeping things civil with her exes as well! Gwyneth admitted in an interview with ES Magazine published on January 16 that she and her ex-husband, Chris Martin, still communicate all the time. The Avengers actress told the outlet, “Chris is a very close friend. I see him every day, I talk to him every day. And it was very difficult, but I think you see in the children that they got through it, so I am proud of us, I really am. We kept to our commitment that we would put the children first.” Good for them! Can’t they all just get along?
