One big, happy family! Actress Gwyneth Paltrow admitted in an interview with ES Magazine published on Jan. 16 that she and her ex-husband, Chris Martin, still communicate all the time, even though the couple split up in March 2014. “Yes. I think we’ve managed to really stay a family,” the Avengers actress told the outlet. “Chris is a very close friend. I see him every day, I talk to him every day. And it was very difficult, but I think you see in the children that they got through it, so I am proud of us, I really am. We kept to our commitment that we would put the children first.” Kudos to them!

Gwyneth, 46, and the Coldplay singer, 41, share daughter Apple, 14, and son Moses, 12. Since they broke up, she and Brad Falchuk got married and Chris is now dating actress Dakota Johnson. Despite their separate lives and relationships, they really seem to be making it work as friends.

And it appears the children Gwyneth already had with Chris are the only ones she plans on having. She told ES Magazine that when it comes to more kids, “Good lord, no. I’m too old. It’s great that women are able to have babies late into their forties, but… I mean, pfffff. I don’t think I could be up all night. I wouldn’t survive.” At least she’s honest?

Apparently, Gwyneth and Chris get along so well that she still hangs a stocking on her mantle for the holidays with his name on it. She shared a photo of herself in front of her fireplace on Dec. 19 on Instagram with the caption, “It’s STOCKING STUFFER TIME! Tomorrow is the last day to get expedited shipping from our world famous @goop gift guide (delivery by 12/24). #themartini bath soak, @olioeosso cheek/lip balm and the @vitruvi essential oil diffuser are some crowd pleasers. Happy holidays everyone!” And people definitely noticed that her ex-husband’s name was included along with the stockings for her husband and kids. Whatever works for her, we suppose!
