Sweet Escape! Gwen Stefani “Looked Radiant” on Romantic Getaway With Blake Shelton (EXCLUSIVE)
During his performance at Luke Bryan’s Crash My Playa festival on Jan. 19, Blake Shelton brought his No. 1 fan onstage. The crowd at the Barceló Maya resort in Riviera Maya, Mexico, went wild when the “God Gave Me You” singer ushered out girlfriend Gwen Stefani, who launched into a rousing rendition of her hit “Hollaback Girl.” Blake beamed and sang along while Gwen took the spotlight, then gave her a sweet kiss as fans cheered. That night, the singer posted an Instagram story with a photo of Blake onstage and the word “babe” written across it.
“She looked radiant, and he was grinning from ear to ear,” an insider says of the pair, who strolled along the shore in Playa del Carmen, Mexico, on Jan. 18. So sweet!
After more than two years together, Gwen, 48, and Blake, 41 are still madly in love, but a source says Blake is in no rush to put a ring on it. “She and I, on paper, we couldn’t be more different,”
Blake gushed last year of his former fellow Voice coach. “But in life, nothing’s ever worked better for me.”
Previously, the country crooner was married to fellow country music star Miranda Lambert. They announced their split in 2015, and sources say that the former couples’ differing views on starting a family was one of the big factors in their breakup.
Today, however, Gwake [can we make that a thing?] seem happier than ever. “They took strolls on the beach. It was such a relaxed and romantic few days for them,” a source tells In Touch. “They’ve had their share of problems over the past few years, but love has won out, and they are happier than ever.”
