Gossip Girl Thanksgiving Episodes Feature

5. Season 4, Episode 10 — “Gaslit”

Out of all the Thanksgiving episodes (and they’re all great, let’s be honest) we put this one at the bottom only because it’s not solely focused on the holiday. But, that didn’t stop it from keeping us on the edge of our seats. The episode is centered on Serena waking up from a drug overdose orchestrated by season 4’s villain, Juliet. This episode also showed Jenny team up with Blair in order to take down Juliet.

2. Season 3, Episode 11 — “The Treasure of Serena Madre”

Serena was having an affair. Jenny and Eric were at odds. Blair thought her mom was pregnant. And Rufus was … telling jokes? Sounds like classic GG to us. Honestly, the dinner table scene might be one of the best ever from the show. Everyone was at each other’s throat as Jason Derulo‘s “Whatcha Say” played in the background.

4. Season 2, Episode 11 — "The Magnificent Archibalds"

Our favorite moment from this episode is when Blair and Jenny put down their weapons (briefly!) to bond over the fact that they both were having severe issues with their parents. Blair was fighting with her mom about her new boyfriend, but in the end, it all got resolved.

3. Season 6, Episode 8 — “It’s Really Complicated”

Oh, how we love it when Blair and Chuck teamed up to take someone down. Especially when that someone was a family member. The iconic duo exposed Bart’s murderous tendencies at Serena and Dan’s Thanksgiving dinner, and it was epic. Not to mention, Dan was exposed for writing some pretty cutting words about his so-called friends.

1. Season 1, Episode 9 — “Blair Waldorf Must Pie!”

We saved the first for last. The first Thanksgiving not only set the tone for all the Thanksgiving episode to come but it also gave important insight into the central characters. Viewers were introduced to Blair’s battle with her eating disorder, and we saw flashbacks to Serena’s party girl days. We were reminded that these characters were extremely flawed, but honestly, that only made us love them even more.
