Drake’s Baby Mama Sophie Brussaux Publicly Defends Him Amid Kanye West Feud
It looks like she’s riding! Drake has kept his relationship with his baby mama Sophie Brussaux as private as possible, but Sophie could not help but step in to defend her baby daddy. Earlier this week, Drake got into a heated Twitter fight with fellow rapper Kanye West, and Sophie publicly clapped back in defense of her baby’s father in a savage comment on Instagram.
Sophie recently took to the comments section of a post by The Shade Room, which featured a screenshot of Ariana Grande’s slight shade at Drake and Kanye’s Twitter beef. “Guys, I know there are grown men arguing online rn [sic] but Miley and I [are] dropping our beautiful, new songs tonight so if y’all could please just behave for just like a few hours so the girls can shine that’d be so sick thank [you],” Ari wrote in her initial tweet.
“I would hardly call Kanye arguing with himself ‘grown men,'” Sophie, 29, wrote in her comment. Sophie is the mom of Drake’s baby son Adonis, and fans were pleasantly shocked to see Sophie take up so publicly for her baby daddy.
“That’s right stand up for your son’s dad. Trying to ruin his career to take food out of your baby’s mouth. Kanye is trying to do to Drake what he claims Drake tried to do to him. Hypocritical,” one fan wrote, and another commented, “Look at her sticking up for her baby daddy.”
Drake and Kanye’s feud started when Kanye took to Twitter to share a series of tweets aimed at Drake, accusing the “In My Feelings” rapper of “being fake” and threatening him and his family. Kanye’s wife Kim Kardashian also inserted herself into the feud and she had some choice words for Drake too. “[Drake], never threaten my husband or our family. He paved the way for there to be a Drake,” she tweeted.
