Casey Anthony Probably Won’t Have Any More Children After Caylee’s Death

It’s been seven years since Casey Anthony was found not guilty of murdering her then 2-year-old daughter Caylee, but the case is still one of the most-talked about trials — in fact, Oxygen just premiered a new special The Case of: Caylee Anthony, which offers another in-depth look at the mystery. However, unlike most recaps of the crime, investigators in the special believe that Casey could have actually been innocent. Whether she’s guilty or not, Casey has tried to move past the headlines and start a new life, which has left people wondering: does Casey have another child, and what is she up to today?

Casey hasn’t had any more kids, though she hasn’t ever given a definitive answer as to whether or not she would want to be a mom again. “If I am blessed enough to have another child — if I’d be dumb enough to bring another kid into this world knowing that there’d be a potential that some jackass, their little snot-nose kid would then say something mean to my kid — I don’t think I could live with that,” she told AP News in an interview last year.

The Florida resident doesn’t have much of a family at all, as she’s been estranged from her parents since the trial ended — but she hasn’t shut herself off from finding love. As of 2017, she was linked to private detective Patrick McKenna, who worked on her case and trial, but just a few weeks ago, TMZ spotted her throwing back beers alone at a local bar. Though she was seen chatting with a few men, others were horrified to see her out and about.

Despite the majority of people believing that she was guilty, Casey can’t be retried for her daughter’s murder due to the double jeopardy rule, but that hasn’t stopped people from labeling her as one of the world’s worst mothers — not that Casey listens to the hate. “I don’t give a s–t about what anyone thinks about me, I never will,” she told AP News. “I’m OK with myself, I sleep pretty good at night.”
