It’s over? Teen Mom OG alum Bristol Palin and her boyfriend, Janson Moore, deleted photos of each other from their respective Instagram grids and Bristol, 29, seemingly confirmed that the two have split only one month after they went Instagram official.
On her Instagram Story on Sunday, December 29, the former Teen Mom star was asked by a fan whether or not she was dating anyone. “Noo,” the young mom rather bluntly responded. That seems pretty cut and dry.
Between that answer and the erasure of each other on their social media, it seems pretty clear that the couple has called it quits. But what happened?
“Yeah, they’re done,” a source told Radar Online of the couple. “Let’s just say Bristol didn’t know much about his past relationship and how recent it was, and she realized early on that he just has a lot of growing up to do.”
“He’s too young for her,” the insider continued, referring to the 5-year gap between Bristol and Janson, 24. “She is focusing on her family and herself.”
There was no other hint of what went down in Bristol’s recent Instagram posts. On December 27, she wished a happy birthday to her son, Tripp. As for Janson, he’s mostly been posting photos along with Bible quotes.
It was never totally clear how Bristol and Janson even met. Bristol is from Alaska but settled in Texas when she married her ex-husband Dakota Meyer (and they finalized their divorce in October 2018), and Janson is a former quarterback for the Texas A&M football team based in Austin, Texas.
The former Teen Mom star first shared a photo of herself with Janson in matching Texas A&M sweatshirts at a college football game on November 16. Bristol captioned the photo with a heart eyes emoji and tagged her boyfriend’s Instagram page, making the two of them Instagram official.
They’re also both religious — he shared the couple photo of the two of them on his own Instagram on November 16 but used a Bible verse as the caption. (Seeing a trend here?) The bible verse Janson referenced at the time read: “Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.”
With charm like that and similar values, we’re definitely curious about what exactly caused the couple to break up. Maybe it was a rebound situation for Janson, who was previously married to Makenzie Housenfluck, whom he only just filed for divorce from on May 8, 2019. (The divorce was finalized on August 6, 2019, in a hearing.) Or maybe it was just about maturity in the end.
No matter what happened, we hope it was amicable and these two are able to happily go their separate ways.
