Coco Austin Loves to ‘Be a Dominatrix’ on Halloween: ‘Like, My Opposite Coco’
No one does Halloween better than the costume Queen herself, Coco Austin. If there is one thing we know about Coco, it’s that the 40-year-old loves to be super sexy year-round, but on Halloween, she turns it up a notch. She told In Touch exclusively about the method to her madness, slaying her fright night look.
“I just like to be like super hot — extra hot that day,” Coco said. “Of course, that’s when extra girls are getting extra sexy, which enables me to get extra sexy without having to be weird about it,” she added.
However, don’t expect the blonde beauty to be anything angelic — she relishes the opportunity to embrace her naughty alter-ego. “I would say I like to [be] the dominatrix [look] because personally, in my regular life, Coco’s super happy and more of a submissive type. And on that day, when I become a dominatrix, I’m more like, superhero — I can kick your ass! Like, my opposite Coco, so I kind of like that.”
As for her favorite look from years past, her French maid costume reigns supreme in her eyes. That year, she planned out her costume six months in advance, which is unusual for Coco and her family. Part of the Halloween fun for them is deciding what they will be the day of. “I don’t really know till that day — crazy!” she said, adding, “I have to feel the vibe!”
That day, Coco gets ready to bring Mercedes Fashion Week to her foyer. “What I do is I go to my storage and I take out like boxes of Halloween costumes that I haven’t worn yet. And I try them all on for Ice [-T] to see which one works the best for that night.” She then puts on a little fashion show of about 10 looks for him. “Sometimes it might be kind of colder than other Halloweens and sometimes it’s warmer. So I kind of go with the vibe of the weather. And then I order like a bunch off the ‘net.”
As for her man, 61, he sometimes goes off of her costume, but most years he takes the opportunity to do his own thing. As the iconic couple frequently coordinates and plans out their red carpet looks, on Halloween they go for “the traditional not Ice and Coco.” Going against the usual is part of the holiday fun in Coco’s house!
