This is so scary! In an exclusive interview with In Touch, Little Women: LA star Christy McGinity Gibel opened up about how her spinal surgery almost turned fatal. Back in December, TMZ broke the news that she pressed charges against the doctor.

"That doctor almost did kill me. He hit my carotid artery. He nicked it during surgery, and that's all I can say. My health is better, it's not like it was, but it's better. My voice is almost 100 percent back, but I still can't sing, which makes me sad," she said via phone last week.

However, Christy added that she has more medical procedures underway — which will play out on Season 7 of the Lifetime reality series. "I'm struggling with my weight and I'm finally doing something about it. You can look forward to a big operation that I'm gonna go through."

The reality star underwent spinal surgery in November 2016, and revealed a few months later that she had a stroke following the procedure. "I am not the same, and may never be," she said at the time. "Every day is an uphill battle to do things in my life that I took for granted, like speaking. The pain was the worst I have ever felt.

"How can I take care of my family? I am still the mama bear of the house, and expected to run it, sick or not," she continued. "Am I ever going to be 'Christy' again? The constant set backs really played with my mind. They still do." We hope she gets the justice she deserves — and more importantly, stays in good health.
