Coparenting at its finest. While Britney Spears is at a wellness center, her ex-husband Kevin Federline is looking after their two kids, Sean Preston, 13, and Jayden, 12, an insider revealed to Us Weekly. The source noted that the 41-year-old “has the boys” and “is considering going back to court for increased child support payments.” The former flames were married for three years — from 2004 to 2007 — before they parted ways.

On Wednesday, April 3, multiple sources confirmed to In Touch that the 37-year-old pop star is taking some time to focus on herself amid her dad’s health issues. In January 2019, the Grammy winner revealed her dad, Jamie Spears, almost died after his colon ruptured. “Britney was losing it. She’s not coping with the fact that her dad isn’t going to make it. She had a breakdown,” an insider exclusively told In Touch. They added that her father “actually convinced her to check into a place.”

Meanwhile, Brit’s kiddos seem to be in good hands. “Britney’s sons are in the full-time are of their dad, Kevin, for the time being,” the insider added. They added that Sam Asghari — the “Slumber Party” crooner’s beau — “has been nothing but supportive through everything.”

The 25-year-old clearly has Brit’s back as he posted an uplifting note about her journey on social media. “It isn’t weakness, it’s a sign of absolute strength. People should only be inspired by this, at least I am. #Stronger,” he said.

The Mississippi native revealed to her fans via Instagram on April 3 that she is, indeed, taking a breather. “We all need to take time for a little ‘me time,’” the caption read. “Fall in love with taking care of yourself. Mind. Body. Spirit.”

On January 4, the blonde beauty confessed that she had to put her Las Vegas show on hold for the time being, so that she could be with her family. “I don’t even know where to start with this, because this is so tough for me to say. I will not be performing my new show, Domination. I’ve been looking to this show and seeing all of you this year, so doing this breaks my heart,” she said at the time. “However, it’s important to always put your family first … and that’s the decision I had to make.”

She continued, “A couple of months ago, my father was hospitalized and almost died. We’re all so grateful that he came out of it alive, but he still has a long road ahead of him. I had to make the difficult decision to put my full focus and energy on my family at this time. I hope you can all understand. More information on ticket refunds is available on britneyspears.com. I appreciate your prayers and support for my family during this time. Thank you and love you all … always.”

Stay strong, Brit!
