It wasn’t a surprise that the 44-year-old and the 33-year-old model couldn’t make it work. In Touch previously reported that Bradley and Irina — who share 2-year-old daughter Lea De Seine Shayk Cooper — had been “on the verge of splitting for months.”

They both “tried to make it work for the sake of their daughter,” but they “both have busy lives and careers which has made the process very long and drawn out,” an insider revealed.

Supportive Exes

It seems like the handsome hunk has nothing but love for his ex, though. “Their daughter Lea is the best thing that’s ever happened to Bradley, so he doesn’t have any regrets,” another source dished. “He’ll always care about Irina, but it’s reached the point where neither of them want to continue sacrificing their happiness to stay stuck in a bad relationship.”

Friends Forever

Meanwhile, the brunette beauty is being comforted by her good friend Stella Maxwell, an insider revealed. “Irina is moving on from Bradley, and she’s leaning on her family and girlfriends for support — specifically fellow supermodel Stella, who’s a good shoulder to cry on,” they noted. “She’s telling friends that she’s done crying and focusing on moving on with her life.”

Hard Times

Stella, 29, is the perfect person to help the Russian native out of her funk post-split. “Stella’s been down the breakup path before. She was recently supporting her ex Kristen Stewart, who was going through a rough patch with her girlfriend, Sara Dinkin,” the source explained.

Fam Forever

Luckily, the mom of one has an amazing group of friends and family to help her through this tough time. “Irina is in good hands. Besides Stella, she’s got her sister, Tatiana, and her mom supporting her too,” the source continued. “She’ll be just fine.”

Many fans thought that Lady Gaga — Bradley’s A Star Is Born costar — might have been involved with the Pennsylvania native. But a source told Us Weekly that their relationship problems have “nothing to do” with the “Bad Romance” crooner, 33.

The Grammy winner addressed the rumors during an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! In February. “First of all … social media, quite frankly, is the toilet of the internet and what it’s done to pop culture is abysmal,” she told the host. “People saw love and guess what, that’s what we wanted you to see. This is a love song.”
