Bobbi Kristina Brown’s “Sweet 16-Themed” Funeral Is Just As Hectic and Bizarre As It Sounds — Get All the Details
Bobbi Kristina Brown passed away on Sunday night, but it may be a while before the late 22-year-old will actually be able to rest in peace.
According to a new report, her relatives are feuding because her maternal aunt, Pat Houston, plans to throw a “Sweet 16-themed funeral.”
Pat Houston has been seen making funeral plans in Georgia.
A source close to the situation tells the Daily Mail that singer Dionne Warwick — first cousin of Bobbi’s late mother, Whitney Houston — plans to boycott the ceremony because she’s “offended” by the theme and frustrated that Bobbi Kristina’s father, Bobby, isn’t being included in the planning of the funeral.

“Dionne is planning a trip and threatening to not attend the funeral because Pat Houston is taking over even though she should be making decisions with Bobby and not doing it on her own,” the source says.
“Dionne resents Pat acting like she is the head of the Houston family when in reality she married into the family. Also everyone knows that Bobbi Kristina and Pat didn’t get along well after her mother died… Pat wants to have a ‘sweet 16-theme’ funeral but Dionne feels that is stupid and disrespectful to Bobbi Kristina.”

Pat and Dionne aren’t the only source of tension when it comes to funeral arrangements.
TMZ reports Bobbi Kristina’s partner, Nick Gordon, is “begging” Bobby Brown to allow him to attend the services this Saturday even though he’s at the center of a homicide investigation.

In an email — obtained by TMZ — he allegedly told the bereaved father and Pat Houston, “I loved Krissi with all my heart and I am destroyed that she is gone and I need to say goodbye. I’m begging you both to please put your differences aside and allow me this chance… Krissi loved me very much and she would want me there.”
Services will take place Saturday, Aug. 1, at St. James United Methodist Church in Alpharetta, Ga.
Bobbi Kristina will be laid to rest at a private burial on Monday at the Fairview Cemetery in Westfield, N.J., where she’s expected to be buried next to her mother.
