The Rebel Duggar Strikes Again! Cousin Amy’s Husband, Dillon King, Is Opening a Cigar and Whiskey Lounge
Looks like Amy Duggar‘s husband, Dillon King, is ready to share her reputation as the rebel Duggar relative! Though their Counting On cousins don’t drink alcohol, Dillon just announced that he’s opening his own whiskey lounge. He shared the news on Instagram on Thursday, August 15, revealing that his new business won’t just be a spot to drink a little something something on the rocks, it’ll also have an additional cigar lounge inside. It sounds swanky as heck — and totally not Duggar-approved.
“I am so excited to announce that I am opening a lounge call Wellington’s, [with an] exclusive VIP cigar lounge called The Reserve,” Dillon, 31, wrote. “Wellington’s is an upscale sophisticated lounge offering fine dining, rare whiskeys and extraordinary cigars. I have always felt that NWA [Northwest Arkansas] was lacking a more mature place for myself and others to come together and enjoy the art of cocktail mixology, to experience splendid culinary masterpieces and to smoke what the world calls the finest cigars from around the world.”
Wellington’s sounds like a fun place to be. However, we can’t help but wonder how much support Dillon will get from his wife’s cousins. Plenty of the Duggar daughters have shown up to shop at Amy’s boutique, 3130 Clothing, and even flaunted their purchases on Instagram. Considering smoking and drinking is against family rules, though, we don’t imagine that we’ll be seeing Derick Dillard or Joseph Duggar lighting up a cigar anytime soon.
Amy also shared some exciting business news recently. In early July, she shared that she’s expanding 3130’s stock to include items like home goods, a larger curvy section and even a coffee bar. Beyond that, the boutique is also physically expanding. The star bought the retail space next to hers, and she’s currently working on fixing it up. “We’re gonna make this place be amazing!” she told fans.
