She’s Back! Amanda Knox Keeps Her Head Down After Arriving in Italy
On Thursday, June 13, Amanda Knox returned to Italy for the first time since she was wrongfully convicted of Meredith Kercher’s murder. Just a few days earlier, she announced her intentions to head back to the country that owes her thousands in damages for humans rights violations. “Three days ’til I return to Italy for the first time since leaving prison,” the 31-year-old shared on Instagram on Sunday, June 9. “Feeling frayed, so I made my own inspirational workplace poster. ‘Hang in there!’ Just imagine I’m a kitten.” It certainly seemed that she was feeling “frayed” as she stepped out at the Linate Airport in Italy, keeping her head down as she made her way through the crowd.
