The love is real! Fans may have been constantly questioning 90 Day Fiancé star Larissa Dos Santos Lima‘s relationship with ex Colt Johnson, but when it comes to her new man, Eric Nichols, it’s clear they’ve got something special. The couple has been going strong ever since they started dating in February, and now Larissa is spilling the tea. While exclusively chatting with In Touch, the Brazilian star opened up about her new relationship, what Eric is like, and how he measures up to Colt. Check out the gallery below for the exclusive update from Larissa.
After meeting on Tinder, it seems like they’ve been pretty much inseparable — and all over each other. The couple has been packing on the PDA on Instagram as they pose for pictures while kissing or straddling each other.

She’s head over heels.
No matter what they’re doing, she clearly just loves to spend time with her man. “He makes me laugh,” she said. “He’s accomplished so much for being 27 years old only — and I can’t forget he’s a hunk.”

So how does he compare to Colt?
In Larissa’s eyes, there’s no competition. She’s not throwing shade at her ex, but her new man is the one on her mind. “Both are strong and intelligent,” she admitted, “but Eric is more … independent and open-minded.”

That’s not all.
“Plus, [he’s] outgoing and [has] funny jokes,” she said. She also weighed in on how quickly their relationship has been moving. They became exclusive pretty much right away after meeting on Tinder.

They went from 0-100.
“We’ve been serious since day one,” she confirmed. However, that doesn’t mean they’re rushing into anything either. Though they’re committed to each other, they’re putting off finding a place together for now.

Like she said, Eric is “more independent.”
“We don’t have plans to rush anything,” she told In Touch when the topic of moving in together came up. “We are taking our time and enjoying the amazing time of now.”

What about wedding bells?
Larissa is planning to be patient on that front, too. When she and Colt got together, there wasn’t much time to waste after the came to America. Now that she and Eric can pace themselves, that’s what they’re planning to do.

The couple is having fun just dating.
“I do not have plans to get engaged or be married anytime soon,” Larissa said. It sounds like she might be grateful for a break from holy matrimony after how things fell apart with Colton.

Their split was messy.
During one fight featured on Happily Ever After, the star even flushed her wedding ring down the toilet. “When I heard the flush of the toilet, it broke my heart,” her then-husband, Colt, said on the show.

They also struggled with domestic violence incidences.
Though you won’t see the court case featured in the show, Larissa faced criminal charges when her relationship with Colt became physical on more than one occasion.

But she recognizes her “mistakes.”
On the one-year anniversary of her time in America, Larissa reflected on the past year — and all the bad decisions she’s made along the way. “I learned a lot in the past year, [I] made mistakes,” she shared on Instagram.

Now, she’s moving on.
She and Eric are more than happy together, and she’s thankful for everything she’s done that’s gotten her to this point, including everything that went wrong with Colt. “In the end, I’m just grateful for everything,” she said in April

She’s got love for her ’90 Day’ family.
“90 Day Fiancé was a great experience,” she continued. “I love that I connect with people that always support me. … I never forgot that my ‘dream’ was just to do CVS and buy Maybelline or visit Walmart.”

She’s ready to make her own dreams come true.
“Now, my dream is a biggie house with a pool,” she dished. “Thankfully, I’ll get it with my own strength.” With some serious ambition and love in her life, it seems like Larissa has it all.
