After a whirlwind eight-month romance, Larissa Dos Santos Lima is splitting from her boyfriend, Eric Nichols. The 90 Day Fiancé star took to Instagram to reveal the breakup on Wednesday, September 11. Though she deleted all of their photos together, she claimed there were “no hard feelings” between them and that things simply didn’t work out. Larissa, 33, first revealed that she was seeing someone new just one month after her ex-husband, Colt Johnson, filed for divorce. Initially, she hid his face from fans, but told fans he was “26 but more mature than [a] 40[-year-old].”

Though she tried to keep her relationship out of the spotlight at first, hiding Eric’s face in photos and sharing that he was “not into social media,” they eventually made their public debut at her divorce party.

The two quickly got hot and heavy, even sharing photos of them kissing on Instagram. “You are my everything,” Larissa told Eric in a comment posted on the photo-sharing site.

Before long, the star was regularly gushing about her boyfriend to her fans and followers, and he was doing the same on his page. By the time they’d been dating for over six months, she was even opening up about her relationship in the media.

“We are doing good. It feels good for me to be in a healthy relationship. We take it a day at a time,” she exclusively told In Touch in August. “He is bashful, but he know he can not keep his hands off me.”

Unfortunately, it seems their relationship may not have been as healthy as Larissa first thought. On Wednesday, September 11, she revealed to fans that she may have jumped into the relationship too quickly.

In her breakup post, she admitted that she hadn’t fully moved on from her marriage to Colt before diving into a new relationship — and being with someone else didn’t allow her to focus on healing.

“After eight months of being Erickee’s girlfriend, I have to tell my followers that we have decided to break up and go our separate [ways],” she wrote on Instagram.

“There [are] no hard feelings or regrettees, but I need to look in my own soul and focus on being the best Larissa I can be,” she said. “I try to heal one painful breakup by jumping in [a] relationship with Erickee, but I know now I need to work on me and focus on my healing of my scars.”

“I [am] not sure what will come [in] the future, but I am excited for it. I look forward to this time in my life as a reflection on my own personal dreamees and goals I set to do. Thank you for all your love, strength and support [for] me always.”

The star decided to put her best foot forward by first deleting all of the photos she’d posted with her man. Though she still has love for her ex, she explained why she needed to do that while chatting with a fan.

“No hard feelings, but every pic of him ever is now gone?” the fan asked. “Yes, but I [am] keeping wishing him happiness,” Larissa said. “Will you have [a] portrait of your ex in your house?”

When another fan asked if her breakup with Eric meant that she would be getting back together with Colt, she shut that down, too. “[We’re] divorced,” she answered the question simply.

Larissa isn’t going through her split alone, though. She’s got plenty of support from her fellow 90 Day Fiancé stars — even if they’re dealing with their own emotions surrounding the split.

“Annie [Suwan] and I wish the best for you in all of your endeavors,” wrote David Toborowsky. “You deserve the best, beautiful!” added Darcey Silva. “You are strong, loving and amazing!” Costar Leida Margaretha couldn’t help but mourn the couple, though, writing, “You guys [were] adorable. Why????”

Of course, it wasn’t all love. Some fans accused Larissa of moving on because of money issues. “So in other words, you milked him dry of his cash and you decided to move on because he couldn’t give you $1 million like Coltee?”

Larissa responded, “Don’t make assumptions. I always was independent, and Eric never had this problem with me.” To another fan, she added, “I never ask [for] any coin.” But when they pointed out she had asked Colt for money, she was able to laugh it off. “Go watch Netflix,” she teased.

We’re glad to see that Larissa can still find the humor in things, even while going through a tough time. We’re sending her love after her split as we hope she works on healing her scars.
