Did Mohamed Jbali get arrested? That's what it looked like, according to the 90 Day Fiancé star's Instagram! He took to Instagram on Friday, Dec. 29, to share a short, cryptic video clip of himself sitting in the backseat of a police car and fans flooded the comment section with concerned messages.

"I got arrested," he simply wrote in the caption. But it seems like it was meant to be a joke from the start — considering that the 29-year-old shared the video with three rolling on the floor laughing emojis. But nevertheless, fans were still curious about how he landed himself in what seemed to be a pretty serious situation.

"Oh no!! Why?? I can't see what you could have possibly done," one fan wrote, and another speculated, "Arrested? Either this was the ex-wife's doing, or I bet your car broke down too, LOL."

Mohamed decided to let his fans worry and wonder for nearly 24 hours before he finally explained the reason why he was riding in the back of a police car. “I did not get arrested, I was making joke [sic] with the people that I know in person," he explained. "The joke did work, we had a good laugh about it. What happened exactly was I ran out of gas for like [sic] a mile away from the gas station and the cop saw me, so he just came and gave me a ride. And he was aware that I was filming so I am out of trouble."

He also shared a message for fans who were a little too sensitive and took offense to his joke. “You don't need to be in [sic] my Instagram if you're gonna be too sensitive," he continued. "You have two options, either unfollow or block me. Hopefully, nobody get offended [sic] with my post, and I don't mean any bad intention.”
