Mel B. has reportedly moved out of the home she shares with her husband, Stephen Belafonte. This follows a Dec. 14 appearance on ‘The X Factor UK’ that sparked rumors of domestic abuse as fans noticed suspicious bruises on her body — and a lack of wedding ring on her finger!
A report from British newspaper 'The Sun' says she fled the London home she and her husband of six years shared. On Monday, Belafonte, a film director, denied he was to blame for her injuries and recent hospital stay, calling those claims “quite disgusting” and “untrue.”

Now friends are allegedly urging the 37-year-old to leave her husband — but even her own sibling remains in the dark. Mel’s sister, Danielle, took to Twitter begging for answers — and even accusing Stephen directly.
“This is ridiculous and cruel! Evil! How can NO one tell me and my family where my sister is and what is going on? Just a simple call to say she gonna [sic] be ok is all it takes!” she wrote in a series of tweets that have since been deleted.

She continued, “STOP [Stephen] with your evil lies!! You told me and my mum yesterday she is fine and not in hospital… I am beyond desperate and this should be a private family matter!! But we don’t know what else to do if anyone at all can help then [please] do!”
Additionally, she threatened to go to the press with “abusive” phone calls left by her brother-in-law.
Mel has yet to comment on the allegations.
