Jeffrey Dean Morgan Confirms Negan Will Survive ‘The Walking Dead’ Season Finale
Jeffrey Dean Morgan isn’t exactly a fan favorite on AMC’s hit series The Walking Dead — but according to him, we better get used to seeing him around!
The 50-year-old actor, who plays nemesis Negan, revealed in a new interview that he WILL survive the season finale.
“I’ll be around for season eight,” he told Howard Stern. “The next two [episodes], I’m really big in. I’m f–king heavy in those.”
Negan infamously killed two fan favorites during the season 7 premiere — Abraham (played by Michael Cudlitz) and Glenn (played by Steven Yeun).

“If you put yourself in this apocalyptic Zombie-fied world, I think anybody that’s survived this long has probably done some bad things,” he explains of The Walking Dead‘s plot. “They [Rick Grimes’ group] killed 30 of my men while they slept. So far, I’ve tapped a couple of guys in the head with a baseball bat and all of a sudden it’s the end of the world!”
