Teresa Giudice Praises People Who ‘Accept You for Who You Are’ After Reuniting With Joe in Italy

Home is where the heart is. Real Housewives of New Jersey star Teresa Giudice shared a cryptic message about “family” after visiting her husband, Joe Giudice, in Italy last week. The Bravo alum took to Instagram Stories with the sentimental quote on Wednesday, November 13, following her return to the tri-state area.

“Family isn’t always blood. It’s the people in your life who want you in theirs; the ones who accept you for who you are. The ones who would do anything to see you smile and who love you no matter what,” the note read.

Teresa, 47, is already back on her grind after the getaway, having been spotted in New York City on November 12 to promote the upcoming season of RHONJ. It’s likely been a bittersweet time for the Giudice family, considering the fact that Joe, 47, is still waiting to find out the decision to his appeal in regards to his ongoing deportation case.

Even though the reality star’s beau has completed his 41-month prison sentence for mail, wire and bankruptcy fraud, his legal woes aren’t over yet. Joe was transported to Italy after he was released from ICE Custody in the United States on October 11.

Luckily, he was able to spend some quality time with his loved ones recently. Joe and Teresa’s oldest daughter, Gia, even treated fans to the first photo of their brood together since Joe served his prison sentence. Gia, 18, Milania, 14, Audriana, 10, and 15-year-old Gabriella were all smiles while making new memories with their father.

On November 8, Joe took to Instagram with a family photo of his own, which showed off his incredible weight loss. “Italian strong,” he captioned the snap featuring his wife as well as their four daughters, adding the Italian flag emoji.

Not long ago, Teresa opened up about her relationship status with Joe while appearing at the New Jersey Ultimate Women’s Expo on November 3. “When I go see him in Italy, we’ll figure that out,” the fitness competitor said.

“I’ve been on my own now for three years and seven months and I don’t, you know, we’re both two different people now and you know, and I don’t know,” she continued. “I’m not the same Teresa I was and I know he’s not the same Joe.”

While sharing his own thoughts via video chat, Joe said that he will support his wife in whatever decision she makes. “Listen, as long as she’s happy, that’s all that really matters,” the father of four explained. “I’m not going to tell her what to do. If she doesn’t feel like she wants to be with me anymore, that’s the thing to do.”
