Steve Harvey’s Daughter Lori Harvey Arrested After Hit and Run in Beverly Hills
Yikes. Steve Harvey’s daughter Lori Harvey was arrested for a hit and run after she was involved in a serious car accident in Beverly Hills on Sunday, October 20, In Touch confirmed. The 22-year-old apparently crashed her Mercedes SUV into another car, which flipped her vehicle, an eyewitness told the outlet. The source claimed that Lori had been texting and driving. OK! magazine was the first to break the news.
The driver of the other car pulled her out of the Mercedes, but she tried to leave the scene. However, police arrived and stopped her. Shortly afterward, Lori was seen FaceTiming her famous dad before she was arrested.
The Beverly Hills Police Department revealed Lori was arrested on two counts: misdemeanor hit and run and delaying a police investigation at 9:48 p.m. on October 20 after she rolled her vehicle. “She cooperated for the most part and wasn’t intoxicated,” the watch commander said. “She was arrested for two charges and released on scene. Not booked. She identified herself properly and signed a written promise to appear in court.”
Just hours before the incident, Lori was spotted at Nobu Malibu with her friend Amaya Colon, according to her Instagram Stories. The Tennessee native uploaded photos of the gorgeous sunset along with a snap of her green purse by the beach.
Lori made headlines this summer when she was seen hanging out with Sean “Diddy” Combs in New York City. The music producer, 49, even vacationed with Lori’s family including her dad and mom in August. Even though the duo was photographed together in September, it seems like their romance is over for now.
Lori unfollowed Diddy on Instagram, according to OK!. However, Diddy is still following the model. In photos obtained by The Shade Room, the Grammy winner left a Los Angeles restaurant on October 11 with actress Nicole Olivera. The Shade Room reported that Diddy left the car first and ran into the restaurant while Nicole waited a little while before she was escorted into the facility. Lori was in Washington D.C. that same weekend since she attended Howard University’s Homecoming celebrations.
For now, Lori hasn’t posted anything on social media, and her father hasn’t spoken about what happened just yet. We hope everyone is safe.
