Nipsey Hussle’s Ex Tanisha Foster Remembers the Rapper on What Would Have Been His 34th B-day
Always on her mind. Nipsey Hussle’s ex Tanisha Foster took to Instagram to write a sweet message in honor of what would have been the late rapper’s 34th birthday. “Screaming happy cake day to you, my love,” she wrote on Thursday, August 15. “Wish you were here so I could celebrate with you. Muah, I LOVE YOU ERMY.”
Tanisha — who also goes by the name of Chyna Hussle — was with Nipsey (born Ermias Asghedom) for many years, and they share their 10-year-old daughter, Emani Asghedom. The “Racks In The Middle” crooner also has a son, Kross Asghedom, with his ex Lauren London.
However, Nipsey’s sister, Samantha Smith, filed for custody of Emani, claiming that her biological mother wasn’t a fit parent. After Samantha was granted custody of Emani, Tanisha broke down in tears at the hearing and claimed she hadn’t seen her daughter in months. Afterward, the judge let them spend some much-needed time together. Despite the hard times, it seems like Tanisha and Nipsey were on good terms since she frequently posts about him on social media. In July, she uploaded a picture of the two of them together, writing, “I miss you, Ermy.”
Lauren, 34, has also been vocal about how much she misses her man. “Always had a crush on him,” she captioned a photo of Nipsey on July 17. “#GoingToMakeHimProud. Love you, baby.”
Meanwhile, Samantha got a tattoo almost three months after Nipsey’s untimely death. “To my brother who is the key to life, to my brother who’s strength is unmatched, to my brother who is honorable, to my brother who keeps his word, to my brother who puts integrity before anything, to my brother who is the color of love,” she captioned a photo of Nipsey’s face tattooed on her arm on June 19. “To my brother who has the empathy and compassion of God, to my brother who seeks the truth and nothing less, to my brother who is who he says he is, to my brother who does what he says he will do, to my brother who has lived purposefully.”
Samantha concluded the lengthy post by saying she will never forget the kind of person her brother was. “FOREVER YOUR BABY SISTER/60TH STREET SAMANTHA. I LOVE YOU BEYOND WHAT LOVE ENTAILS,” she wrote. “Big thank you @imxtana for this piece. I’m filled with gratitude.”
We are thinking of Nipsey’s family and friends during this tough time.
