Rallying around Lauren London. Games People Play actress Parker McKenna Posey revealed to In Touch exclusively that the cast is “constantly reaching out” following Nipsey Hussle‘s tragic death.

“We all just kind of get around her, and support her and send her our love and all of our prayers,” the 23-year-old — who plays Laila James on the TV series — said of her costar, 34. “We’re constantly reaching out, making sure she’s okay and picking up the slack.”

The rapper, 33, was shot and killed outside his clothing store on March 31. Nipsey, whose real name is Ermias Joseph Asghedom, was “found to have died from gunshot wounds of the head and torso,” according to the L.A. County Department of Medical Examiner-Coroner.

Days after the shooting, suspect Eric Ronald Holder Jr. was charged with one count of murder, two counts of attempted murder and one count of possession of a firearm by a felon, a press release obtained by In Touch revealed. He was accused of wounding two other individuals in addition to killing the rap artist.

Parker said Nipsey visited the set just days before his passing. “He actually came to set the last day [of filming], so it was really crazy, and then a couple of days later, everything ended up happening,” she said of his murder. “So it was really really hard, I think, for all of us and just shocking. Most of all super shocking, but thank God that he was able to stop by.” She added, “I know he touched many, many lives around the freaking world.”

Lauren, who also shares a young son with the late rapper, broke her silence on Nipsey’s passing via Instagram on April 2. “I am completely lost I’ve lost my best friend, my sanctuary, my protector, my soul … I’m lost without you. We are lost without you, babe, I have no words,” she wrote.

The actress concluded that Lauren and her boyfriend of five years had a special bond. “To just see the love that [he] and Lauren share, like, they have some different kind of love,” she said, that everyone “should strive for.”

Games People Play airs on BET Tuesdays at 10 p.m. ET.
