Say cheese! Miranda Lambert and her husband, Brendan McLoughlin, were all smiles as they took a romantic stroll in New York City on Monday, July 8. The newlyweds have been spotted out and about recently, but this time it looked like they were having the best time together. Scroll through the gallery below to see more pictures.
In February, the “Little Red Wagon” crooner shocked her fans when she announced she was no longer single on Instagram. “In honor of Valentine’s Day, I wanted to share some news,” she captioned a photo of herself wearing a wedding gown at the time. “I met the love of my life. And we got hitched! My heart is full. Thank you, Brendan McLoughlin, for loving me for … me. #TheOne.”
Miranda met the dad of one in November 2018 when she performed on Good Morning America. The show films in Times Square — where Brendan was assigned at the time — and was able to enjoy his future wife’s performance with her country trio, Pistol Annies.
Even though the 27-year-old NYPD officer is based in New York, he recently moved down south to be with his lady. “He loves Tennessee and wouldn’t move back to New York because he’s so happy there,” a source exclusively told In Touch. “He loves the Tennessee lifestyle.”
Now, Brendan “only visits [New York] to see his family and friends,” the insider added. “His friends are understanding but joke with him about how he ‘left them’ for her because he doesn’t come home often to see them. He’s clearly torn between his New York friends and his Tennessee lifestyle.”
However, the pair isn’t afraid to give each other some alone time, either. On Wednesday, June 26, the Staten Island native enjoyed a night out with his friends at a bar downtown while Miranda treated herself to a nice dinner and drinks at Soho’s Bistro Les Amis.
Brendan and Miranda fell in love rather quickly, but it seems like they are in it for the long haul. “It’s clear he loves Miranda and their marriage and is happy with their life,” the source continued.
Recently, the lovebirds have been spending a lot of time in up north, and it could be because Miranda recently bought a $2 million New York City apartment for them to share, a second insider told In Touch.
Miranda has “totally upgraded Brendan’s life. Being a young NYPD officer, he wasn’t exactly rolling in the money. But it seems like Miranda likes spoiling him and doesn’t mind spending money to make him happy,” the source explained.
It seems like Brendan doesn’t mind that his lady makes more than he does, either. “He’s totally comfortable with the situation,” the insider added. “His parents often helped him financially before he got married.” We love that these two are happier than ever!
