Yikes! Disgraced former Today show host Matt Lauer has had a pretty rough year after his sexual harassment scandal — not only did he lose his job at NBC, but he’s also in the process of losing his wife Annette Roque, and he was officially kicked out of their marital home just two months ago. Now, the 60-year-old was spotted hanging out solo in the Hamptons over the weekend and eyewitnesses exclusively revealed to In Touch that it seems like all of the stress in Matt’s life is finally catching up to him — because he’s looking worse for wear. Dining Solo.

“On Saturday, Dec. 8 around 6:30 p.m., Matt was dining alone at the end of the bar at Tutto il Giorno in Sag Harbor, NY,” the eyewitness exclusively revealed to In Touch.

He looked worse for wear.

“Matt looked like absolute hell. He was rail thin, white as a sheet, and has lost all of his hair. He looked very sick and rundown,” the source revealed to In Touch. “There have been talks about how he’s trying for a comeback, but he would never be able to be on television now with the way he looks. It would shock the public. It’s really awful because he’s clearly not taking good care of himself.”

He didn’t interact with anyone.

“He tucked himself into the back of the bar alone while the main dining room was buzzing with holiday celebrations. [The View co-host] Joy Behar and her husband were also dining at Tutto il Giorno at the same time, but I didn’t see Matt interact with her at all,” the insider continued.

Laying low.

“He kept his head down and looked like he was trying to avoid conversation with anybody. He must know how shockingly sick he looks compared to how he was about a year ago on television,” the eyewitness explained. “I was completely startled by how thin and sickly he is now. He looks even worse than earlier this year in the months just after he lost his job with NBC.”

Drinks for one.

“He was wearing a dark sweater and I saw him order a cocktail while he chatted a bit with the bartender, but I’m not sure what he ordered for dinner,” the insider said.

No date?

Even though In Touch previously reported that Matt has been dating several women in the Hamptons recently since his separation from Annette, it looked like Matt just wanted some alone time over the weekend.
