It’s over. Lori Loughlin’s older daughter, Bella Giannulli, and her boyfriend, Nick Penske, have split up, Us Weekly revealed on its “Hot Hollywood” podcast on May 22. Lori, 54, and her husband, Mossimo Giannulli, might as well buy stock in tissues because news of the breakup hit just a few weeks after their other daughter, Olivia Jade Giannulli, and her boyfriend, Jackson Guthy, broke up, too, and that’s got to be a pretty emotional house at the moment.

“[They] had boyfriends and both of them broke up with them,” a source explained to the outlet. The insider also noted that Lori and Mossimo’s alleged involvement in the nationwide college admissions scandal has been “too much to deal with” for the girls. Bella, 20, and 19-year-old Olivia’s parents are accused of allegedly agreeing “to pay bribes totaling 500,000 in exchange for having their two daughters designated as recruits to the USC crew team — despite the fact that they did not participate in crew — thereby facilitating their admission to USC.”

Bella and her ex were first linked in 2018 when she started posting pictures of him on her Instagram, Us reported. She has now deleted most of her pictures with him and unfollowed him, which is a pretty standard thing to do after a breakup, let’s be real.

While much of the focus amid the scandal has been on Olivia rather than Bella (the YouTube star lost brand deals with TRESemmé and Sephora and her clothing line collaboration with online boutique Princess Polly is no longer accessible as a result of the situation), it can’t be easy for Lori’s older girl, either. Bella initially deleted her Instagram account in the wake of the scandal, but it was back before long. However, she notably hasn’t updated it since February.

But no worries, because when Bella was spotted out and about on a juice run with a male friend in Brentwood, California on April 25, she was all smiles. Hopefully, she can keep on smiling despite her recent breakup.
