What’s going on here? After Lindsay Lohan appeared to make an Instagram post after her mom, Dina Lohan, lost Celebrity Big Brother that was vaguely threatening toward CBS, she is now denying that she made the comments in question. “Finally #family @alianalohan #free @cbs_bigbrother you suck and get no Valentine’s from @lohanbeachclub @mtv,” Lindsay, 32, captioned an Instagram pic she shared of herself on February 14. “My mother is an AMAZING woman and she did so well. The secrets she told me a few hours ago are going to #EXPOSE #YOUALL #dinalohan #dfwm.” However, the Mean Girls actress then shared a photo of herself with her arms raised above her head on Instagram on Saturday, February 16, and said she never wrote that caption.

“I have been made aware that further comments were added to my last Instagram post as to appear that I wrote them,” Lindsay captioned the new post. “Firstly, I can guarantee these comments were not made from me. Sadly from investigation, I have learned that a past member of my team who had access to my account made these changes. This matter has now been dealt with internally.”

Lindsay continued, saying she wanted to “personally thank CBS and Big Brother for giving my Mother this incredible opportunity and also to say how proud I am of my Mom for what she has achieved.” Which is certainly a more professional statement toward the network than the previous statement! The Lindsay Lohan’s Beach Club star also thanked MTV and Viacom “for their wonderful support,” and concluded, “Lastly, I want to thank those who made me aware of what was happening on my social media channels. Thank you. Lindsay x.”

Lindsay definitely got into some hot water over what appeared to be her original comments, which can be seen in the photo above. “Stop this stupid drama so what your mom didn’t win Big Brother cry me a river,” one person wrote in the replies of the first Instagram post. “You are a mess. And a hater on Tamar Braxton. Haters gonna hate,” another responded. (Tamar ultimately won Celebrity Big Brother.)

We’re not really sure what happened here, but Lindsay’s Instagram appears to have calmed down quite a bit. Maybe she has a PR person checking every single update now? Gotta keep up the good press if she wants people to stay at her beach club!
