A difficult transition. Keeping Up With the Kardashians matriarch Kris Jenner revealed daughter Khloé Kardashian hasn’t been able to contain her emotions over the announcement of the show’s end in 2021.

“We had to tell the crew yesterday, so we were all crying,” the momager, 64, told Ryan Secrest on his show, On Air With Ryan Seacrest, on Wednesday, September 9. “But I think Khloé … is probably the one who is taking it the hardest and really hasn’t stopped crying since we announced. She’s been so sweet and just emotional about it.”

Kris stressed the choice to end the series was a “hard” one, noting it’s been a “very emotional” time for the Kar-Jenner clan as a whole. She also spoke about how the family came to the decision in the first place.

“I think the number 20, well it used to sound good until 2020, but the number 20, it just seemed like the right time,” the longtime reality star explained. “I think for us to take a minute and breathe and everybody slow down a bit. Not slow down professionally, but just you know figure out what our next steps are.”

Kris added, “We’ve had such an amazing run and so grateful for every single moment and everyone we work with.”

Now that the Kardashians have some down time to explore other options, fans called for Kris to join the cast of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills to replace star Denise Richards. News broke the star decided to leave the series after a bombshell season and two years on the show on Wednesday, September 9.

Kris’ ex-husband, Caitlyn Jenner, agreed with fans and revealed she thinks her ex-wife would be “phenomenal” on the Bravo series — which already stars Kris’ close pals Kyle Richards and Lisa Rinna.

“Let’s put it this way, Kris could handle all of those women and some others,” the former athlete, 70, told Access the same day the news of Denise’s departure broke. “That’s kind of in her element. I think she would do very well. She would have a lot to say with all these girls.”

However, Bravo boss Andy Cohen made it seem like bringing Kris into the fold might be a longshot. “She wouldn’t be an executive producer of the show, she wouldn’t have control over the edits, so I think for someone who is used to having so much power over a show, I can’t see her surrendering that power,” the host, 52, explained on his SiriusXM show.

No matter what happens, we can’t wait to see what’s next for Kris, Khloé and the whole family.
