Kim Kardashian Shuts Down Rumor of North Having a Boyfriend: ‘Like, Is This for Real?’
Go, Kim Kardashian, go! The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star shut down rumors that her 5-year-old daughter North West has a boyfriend on Sunday, February 17, after The Hollywood Beauty Awards.
“She doesn’t have a boyfriend,” the 38-year-old said to the reporters who questioned her and Kanye West’s oldest daughter’s relationship status. Kim continued to laugh it off. “Like, is this for real? She’s 5,” she went on.
The rumor started a little prior to Valentine’s Day, when hip hop star Consequence’s 7-year-old son, Caiden Mills, shared a couple of photos from his shopping spree. On February 7, while holding the blue bag, he posted a photo with the caption, “Shout out to Northie, Babygirl I’ll see you soon.”
But, he did not stop there! He followed up with yet another Instagram blessing us with a close up of the beautiful gold necklace he had bought for his crush. “She’s gonna love it. Wrap that up sir, I’ll take it,’’ he wrote. How adorable?
And that she did! Northie was seen wearing the heart-shaped necklace the next week on her playdate at Exploratorium with Caiden and her brother Saint.
This was not the first time the two were caught hanging out together. Caiden scored an invite to Stormi’s first birthday party, and of course, jumped at the chance to post yet another adorable picture with “his boo.”
The real internet freak out was on February 14, when the adorable little boy took to Instagram to share a photo of himself holding a blue Tiffany’s bag and a box of chocolates with the caption, ‘’Love is in the air.”
But… it’s really not what you think! The two are actually family friends, due to Kanye working with Consequence on his debut album, The College Dropout, in 2004.
Caiden is also following in his rapper father’s footsteps! He has a YouTube channel where he goes by “Caiden The Crownholder.” Yes, he may have a crush on North, but Nicki Minaj may be his first choice — considering he wrote a song about her titled ‘’Dream About Nicki.’’ Too cute!
