Joe Giudice Says He Can’t Wait for His Girls to ‘Come Back’ to Italy During Christmas
Getting festive! Real Housewives of New Jersey alum Joe Giudice said he can’t wait for his girls to return to Italy so they can check out the city of Salerno during Christmas. The Bravo star shared a video on Thursday, November 21, showing the colorful light displays up already, giving his Instagram followers a glimpse at the brightly illuminated trees.
“Look how pretty girls. Wish you girls were here. I love you,” he said in the clip. Joe, 47, also took to Instagram Stories with a video of himself out and about, mentioning how he was “enjoying the night.”
His wife, Teresa Giudice, recently opened up about their plans for the holidays, revealing that she wants the girls to visit their father as much as possible while he’s away amid his ongoing deportation case.
“I encourage the kids because I have work and stuff so, but whenever the kids want to go, I have no problem sending them, but they have school also,” she told Us Weekly at BravoCon on November 16.
“They were thinking about Thanksgiving but Joe’s just getting his passport, so they wanted to meet in the Bahamas or something like that. But I don’t know if his passport’s going to be ready in time so definitely Christmas.”
It’s been an eventful few months for the Giudice family, considering Joe has now completed his 41-month prison sentence for mail, wire and bankruptcy fraud. He was released from ICE Custody in October, and later sent to Italy while he waits to find out if he can return to the United States because of his appeal.
Teresa, 47, and their daughters, Gia, 18, Milania, 14, Audriana, 10, and Gabriella, 15, recently hopped on a plane to visit Joe in Italy and fans will get to see their reunion play out during an upcoming episode of RHONJ.
“I was so happy. I was happy he was free. I was happy. My daughters were so happy. It was just very, very, very emotional,” Teresa told In Touch about how the trip was.
The Bravolebrity also recently opened up about the status of her relationship with Joe, revealing they are taking it “day by day.”
