Heidi Klum was at the Mondrian Hotel in LA on Wednesday to promote her new fragrance, Shine, and told us about everything from her fragrance, to Halloween, to her philosophy on aging. “I wanted to make a very feminine, very sensual smell. I wanted something like a beautiful warm, sensual scent that is not overpowering.” Shine is being sold at Kmart, Kohl's, Rite Aid, Sears, Target, Walgreens and Walmart nationwide.
When asked about her and Seal’s Halloween plans she shared that the couple already have their outfits coordinated for their infamous Halloween party. “Yes! It’s going to be a little hairy. I love Halloween and I always love to come up with something completely different every year. I don’t like to just stick in one era. I like to kind of hop all over the place.” However, it may not be as detailed as their crow costumes, the year the couple arrived in the Batmobile. “I liked the crows, too it was very hard though you know and sometimes I forget about the actual practicality of it. You’re constantly poking someone because you know it [the beak] is like this long. It was difficult. My husband was, you know, furious driving it all the way here because you know with the beak he couldn’t see anything and the windows were this small. It was really cool but I don’t want to get into an accident!”
Heidi also shared with In Touch her refreshing approach to life and getting older: “I personally like to stay natural the way I am. I try not to hold on desperately to youth. I’m okay with getting older. I think not to stress about it is good. I think some people that stress too much about it, or think too much and worry too much about it and its like enjoy the way you look and the way you are right now and tomorrow and the next day be happy that you can get old. Not everyone does. I start getting wrinkles, I’m fine with it. I’m not going to go start putting things in and change my appearance. I think that it’s good that we all look different.”
