‘Sister Wives’ Star Maddie Brown Shares Photos of Axel and Evie in Their ~Spooky~ Halloween Costumes

Can they get any cuter? Maddie Brown shared the sweetest photos of her two kids, Axel and Evangalynn Kodi Brush, in their Halloween costumes via her Instagram Story on October 31. She posted the adorable shots of her kids in their ~spooky~ looks after she went on a #momrant about the expectations parents have to deal with during the holiday when it comes to costumes and such. She also revealed that her son had a meltdown about his costume before the photos. Yikes.

“Am I the only one who missed the mom memo?” she began. “When did Halloween become about making goodie bags for your entire class? Homemade costumes and everything? We bought a $20 costume for Axel … regretted it. Because he’s gonna wear it one time.”

She continued, “Actually, he refuses to wear it. So he was mayhem today. And was super mad that I tried to put makeup on him.” Uh oh!

But never fear Sister Wives fans — she got both her kiddies into their costumes eventually! Maddie, 23, finally shared several photos of her children in the holiday outfits, and it looked like it was all worth it in the end for the mom of two.

This is the first Halloween for Maddie and her little family since she revealed that the daughter she shares with her husband, Caleb Brush, was born with a rare medical condition — “fibular aplasia, tibial campomelia and oligosyndactyly (FATCO) syndrome” — a genetic disorder that causes limb malformation. Baby Evie was born without a thumb or a toe and two of her fingers were fused together. Plus, she is missing her shinbone and a calf bone in one of her legs.

The reality TV star mama explained in an interview, “It’s abnormal, and it catches people off guard, but I want her to grow up and feel proud about who she is. If I’m hiding this to protect her, is it really helpful?”

She later thanked her fans and followers for supporting her through the reveal after she confessed she was worried about her baby girl dealing with cyberbullying. “We have been flooded with love, support, and kindness! I have had people reach out from foundations I didn’t even know existed. We have been educated on sooo much! We have learned that we are so not alone in this!” The Sister Wives star continued, “Never in a million years would I have guessed it would go this way. I was so worried and now I know it was not needed.”

Now, Maddie appears more willing to share photos of her daughter that show things like her hands and feet — and she did just that in her super cute Halloween photos! See the snapshots for yourself in the gallery below.
