Trouble in paradise? A source close to George Clooney claims he is stressed over his marriage to his wife of four years, Amal. “They’ve been living apart and sleeping in separate bedrooms for months, and it’s putting a lot of stress on the marriage,” the insider claims to In Touch magazine.

Clooney looked tired at his Oct. 26 Casamigos Halloween bash in Beverly Hills, and it sounds like the 57-year-old star’s marriage could possibly be to blame. “They’ve been having problems,” the insider claims. “George is stressed, and he isn’t sleeping.”

George and Amal were married on Sept. 27, 2014, at the Aman Canal Grande hotel in Venice, Italy, and already, the couple seems to be facing some major challenges. Not least of which are some disagreements about their twin babies, daughter Ella and son Alexander, who are just 17 months old.

The couple welcomed their twins on June 6, 2017, and another source tells In Touch magazine that they disagree on where their children should be raised. The source says George wants to move back to Los Angeles full time, but Amal thinks they should live in London.

We think it’s safe to say that most parents are stressed when they have small children at home, but the challenges George and Amal are facing may go beyond the usual degree of stress and disagreements. And a source previously told In Touch, “When George and Amal found out it was twins they were surprised, but also a little scared because they both had said that one was enough,” so perhaps juggling two babies has in fact proved fairly difficult for the couple.

It makes sense that George and Amal’s lifestyles as an actor and a lawyer, respectively, may clash at times, and impact concerns like where and how they raise their kids. But sources who spoke with In Touch magazine made it appear that George and Amal’s issues may be more serious than that.
