Nolan Gould
On ‘Modern Family,’ Nolan Gould’s character, Luke Dunphy, is, well, not too bright — which couldn’t be further from the truth for the actor!
The 16-year-old boasts an alleged IQ of 150 and a membership to Mensa (which is an exclusive society on the basis on IQ). He even graduated high school at the age of 13 — while he was working full-time on ‘Modern Family’!

Rachel Fox
Now 18-years-old, Rachel is best known for playing Kayla (Tom’s illegitimate daughter) on ‘Desperate Housewives.’ Though she has continued to act — and even pursued singing — Rachel has also proven her talents as a day trader.
Since launching her blog, ‘Fox on Stocks,’ as a 16-year-old in 2012, she has offered advice to her peers and adults alike in the areas of stock trading and investing.

Charlie Korsmo
Charlie Korsmo had a short-lived, but successful career in Hollywood in the early ‘90s, with memorable roles as Jack Banning, the son of Peter Pan, in ‘Hook’ and “The Kid” in 1990’s ‘Dick Tracy.’
His final role was William in ‘Can’t Hardly Wait,’ as the 36-year-old went on to study physics at MIT, before enrolling at Yale Law School.
The Fargo, N.D., resident — who teaches at Case Western Reserve University’s School of Law — may have put rom coms behind him, but his resume is hardly slacking.
He worked for the Environmental Protection Agency and the House of Representatives before being nominated by President Obama for a position on the board of trustees for the Barry Goldwater Scholarship and Excellence in Education Foundation.

Mayim Bialik
She may not have been acting, but Mayim Bialik kept busy from the time she played the eponymous role on ‘Blossom’ in the early ‘90s to when she nabbed the part of Dr. Amy Fowler on ‘The Big Bang Theory!’
The 39-year-old hit the books, first earning a Bachelors degree in neuroscience, Hebrew studies and Jewish studies at UCLA. After taking a break from her academic pursuits to focus on her acting career, the mom-of-two eventually returned to school, earning a Ph.D. in neuroscience after completing a dissertation that studied adolescents with Prader-Willi syndrome.

Jason Zimbler
If you’re looking for an educational lesson, it turns out you may actually want Ferguson to explain it all!
That’s right… Ferg-face — the annoying little brother on ‘Clarissa Explains It All’ — is actually super smart.
Jason, 37, has a Bachelors degree in business administration from Notre Dame and an advanced degree in theatrical directing. Today, he works as a software designer for HBO.

Danica McKellar
Though she’s best remembered as Winnie Cooper on ‘The Wonder Years,’ the 40-year-old ‘DWTS’ alum is actually an accomplished mathematician!
She studied math at UCLA and graduated with honors in 1998, but not before coauthoring a scientific paper, which established a new mathematic theorem, dubbed the “Chayes-McKellar-Winn theorem” (named for Danica and her research partners, professor Lincoln Chayes and Brandy Winn, a fellow undergrad).

Myles Jeffrey
The 24-year-old’s name may not sound familiar — but we have a feeling his voice might! In addition to on-screen roles in ‘Mom’s Got a Date With a Vampire,’ ‘Beverly Hills, 90210’ and ‘Early Edition,’ he lent his voice to the TV series ‘Stuart Little,’ among other voiceover roles.
With a reported IQ of 165, the 24-year-old has also made a successful career out of his intelligence. Back in the day, he appeared on a ‘True Life’ episode themed “I’m a Genius,” and competed in a 2007 ‘Jeopardy!’ teen tournament, where he managed to advance to the semifinals.

Natalie Portman
The Oscar winner, 33, became the poster child star (see what we did there?) when she enrolled at Harvard during the middle of her ‘Star Wars’ success.
She studied psychology and graduated with a Bachelors degree and went on to take graduate courses at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.

Jodie Foster
Jodie Foster’s acting career began when she was only three-years-old with small roles in commercials. Her “big break” came when she was 13, after playing a child prostitute in ‘Taxi Driver’ (that performance earned her an Academy Award nomination).
She reportedly taught herself to read before she was three, and went on to study at Yale after graduating top of her class at the prestigious prep school Lycée Français de Los Angeles in 1980.
