After it was reported that the Episodes star, 48, looked “affectionate” while “[walking] arm-in-arm” with his newly single costar, 51, the father-of-one called the claims “funny,” and insisted the relationship between them is nothing but platonic.

The alleged kiss took place after the two filmed the highly anticipated “Friends reunion” — which is actually a taped gala honoring James Burrows, one of the show’s directors.

The special — Must See TV: A Tribute to James Burrows — will air Feb. 21 on NBC.
