She’s telling all. Countess Luann de Lesseps revealed she plans to write a book about the Palm Beach arrest that changed her life when she spoke with In Touch exclusively at the release party for her single, “Feelin’ Jovani,” at GITANO Jungle Terraces in NYC on June 14.

“Can you believe in a year’s time what’s happened to me? It’s insane. I’m writing a book,” the Real Housewives of New York star revealed about her journey since that fateful night. “About what happened that night — that nobody knows.”

What people do know about that night is the 54-year-old pleaded guilty last year after she was arrested by Palm Beach Police on disorderly intoxication, resisting arrest and battery on a law enforcement officer charges following an incident at the Colony Hotel on Christmas Eve back in 2017. After the debacle, she checked into rehab in early 2018 to address her alcoholism.

“I had been there for three weeks. They like to say I was there for two weeks but I was there for three weeks and it’s a 21-day program, so I was OK,” she told Life & Style about her stay in a rehab program — the length of which has been a highly debated topic this season. During a blowout fight with Bethenny Frankel during a dinner in Miami on the June 12 episode, the Skinnygirl founder even accused Luann of leaving rehab early to go tour her cabaret show.

At the end of the day, the countess is all about looking toward the future and whatever new opportunities come her way as a performer. “The show’s over, the reunion’s over. I’ve moved past it, I’m focusing on what’s next,” she explained her attitude about what’s to come.

So what is next for Lu? “Maybe Broadway,” she smirked. Let’s hope — a book and Broadway. What a dream!
