Chris Pratt and Anna Faris Call off Their Divorce — Well, Sort Of (REPORT)
There might be hope after all! Chris Pratt and Anna Faris are one of Hollywood’s cutest couples — which is why many were devastated when they announced that they were legally separating in a joint statement released last month. But now, sources close to Chris and Anna revealed that the duo has put their divorce on hold. But don’t get your hopes up too much just yet. According to OK, they aren’t putting things on hold to save their marriage, but to save their money! “They’re both saying there’s no chance of a reunion, despite the rumors, but the last thing either of them want or need is for lawyers to take a huge slice of their fortune,” the insider revealed. Sigh.
As previously reported, the couple sought the help of professionals, since their main focus right now is their son, Jack. “They are going through couples counseling now, which is what you do when you want to divorce and there are children involved,” an insider revealed to People. “It won’t likely change the status but it could help with their future co-parenting.”
In their statement, Chris, 38, and Anna, 40, made it clear that their four-year-old is their main priority. “We tried hard for a long time, and we’re really disappointed. Our son has two parents who love him very much and for his sake, we want to keep this situation as private as possible moving forward,” they wrote. “We still love each other very much and will always cherish our time together.”

Sources previously revealed to Life & Style that loneliness played a big part in the couples’ split since Chris has become an in-demand action star. His busy filming schedule takes him away from his family for months at a time which is hard for Anna to accept, and Chris was frustrated with her because she also works in the industry and should be more understanding. But right now, it seems like the love that they shared for each other is motivating them to work out their issues.
“It’s the first time they’ve ever been in counseling together and it only happened after they split,” a source revealed to Life & Style. “They have committed to it. They are trying to keep the pressure low by doing it out of the spotlight, but there is still a lot of love between them.”
